Service Description

Nearly 70 years ago this community was a thriving Company Owned Town, the history of industry is still very much alive. Many Haydenville residents will share their personal experiences of what it was like to live in this company town. With a rich history of multiple industries Haydenville has stories built into its architecture. Haydenville has some of the most unique architecture design in the state and at one point in the world. Participants will be welcomed into what is known as one of the Little Cities of Black Diamonds towns as they listen to stories from first hand sources, encouraged to ask questions and enjoy local refreshments. Tour will begin at the future location of the Hopperville Monument. Participants will follow Township Road 336 also know as Company Road for approx. 2 1/2 miles to the large turn around site. Road signs are posted at the intersection of T-336 and Old U.S. 33
